LAW-8094 Criminal Defense Ethics

This course will focus on the ethical rules and norms that govern the conduct of criminal defense lawyers. The focus will include the attorney-client relationship, client confidentiality, conflicts of interest, public comment by defense counsel, the handling of physical evidence, and the Sixth Amendment law of ineffective assistance of counsel.
