LAW-2099 Intro to Law and Psychology: A Therapeutic Jurisprudence Perspective

This web-based course will introduce students to major issues of law and psychology, using the framework of therapeutic jurisprudence (TJ). TJ is an interdisciplinary field of theory and practice that examines law and policy, dispute resolution, and legal institutions through a lens of psychological health and well-being for legal stakeholders. Students will complete a short research project on a topic developed in consultation with the instructor. Evaluation shall be on a H-P-LP-F basis.
