LAW-2031 Medicare and Medicaid Law and Policy
The Medicare and Medicaid programs are the two largest public health insurance programs in the United States. Those programs, combined with the enactment of the Affordable Care Act in 2010, make up the entirety of the health care safety net in the United States. This course will provide an in-depth overview of these important programs. Our focus will be on eligibility and entitlement; coverage, payment and financing; administrative and procedural issues affecting the operation of these programs; and the Constitutional, statutory and regulatory underpinnings of Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act.05 Apr 2022 6:02 PM
