CJU-285 Terrorism & Counterterrorism
This course offers students an overview of terrorism and its impact on society. It explores the nature of terrorism, its root causes, the role of ideology along with various socio-political and economic factors that can facilitate these activities. The course investigates a range of preventive strategies, including public policies and organizations aimed at preventing terrorism, extremism and radicalization. It draws upon literature from local, national, and international perspectives.
