CI-193 Tackling Global Issues Creatively: Sustainable Development

In 2016, the United Nations issued The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to engage the world in activities that could lead to the eradication of poverty, hunger and a wide range of other inequalities in order to create a more sustainable, prosperous and peaceful world. Students will study the UN’s SDGs and, working in teams, apply the Eight Step Creative Process to a grassroots project within the Suffolk community. Teams will brainstorm, outline, plan, and present proposed initiatives for the class in order to test their viability.
