SBS-HC224 Telling the Business Story: Writing Briefs, Cases, and Training Tools

Clear, purposeful writing is a critical skill for today’s business professionals—especially when presenting ideas, guiding teams, or communicating strategy. In this course, students will develop essential communication tools used across business functions, from pitching new initiatives to training employees and analyzing real-world scenarios.Through hands-on practice, students will learn to craft three powerful forms of business communication:A project brief for a real Sawyer Business School (SBS) client,A training vignette based on personal or professional experience, andA mini-case study drawn from a real company or organization.Students will strengthen their analytical thinking, sharpen their writing skills, and build confidence in crafting concise, high-impact documents that resonate with diverse business audiences. Whether you're planning to lead teams, consult for clients, or launch your own venture, the ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively will set you apart.
