LAW-8056 Legal Investigation Skills
Criminal, civil, and administrative proceedings all rely on the presentation of reliable, traceable, and ethically gathered evidence. Legal investigation can take many forms, whether it be part of an individual attorney’s responsibilities, or a larger team effort. Using fair housing investigation as the primary lens, this intercession course will cover topics related to fact finding, the discovery process, ethical considerations, and factual analysis. Students will leave this course with practical skills which they can utilize to build strong legal cases across an array of applications.
