EMBA-724 Strategic Management: Firm-Level Resources and Approaches
This course builds upon the earlier contextual considerations developed in Strategic Management: Societal and Industrial Context. The intent is to reorient the discussion to the role played by firm-level resources in driving competitive advantage. Additionally, we will review specific strategies including business-level strategy and diversification and aspects of implementation including organizational culture and corporate governance to understand how internal capabilities can be aligned with external opportunities.
