EMBA-710 Entrepreneurship
This course is designed to introduce students to entrepreneurial thinking and methods of executing their ideas. Theory is combined with practice, providing opportunities to test the theories, models, and strategies learned. Topics covered include recognizing and screening opportunities, forming new venture teams, preparing business plans, understanding entrepreneurial finance and valuation models, deal making, identifying execution action scenarios, managing crisis and failure, and developing exit strategies. Students will act in the roles of key decision-makers and solve problems related to the development or maintenance of the competitive advantage of the firm in a given market
