Academic English Program

Through the Academic English program, students will

learn to present spoken and written ideas accurately and effectively in English
learn to strategically read, clearly understand, and critically evaluate academic texts
learn to take useful and accurate notes in academic lectures and presentations
feel confident with listening comprehension
build skills and confidence in communicating with others
expand their vocabulary and grammar skills
understand U.S. academic values and standards
understand the importance of time management and study skills
gain insight into life and culture in the U.S.
