SF-H1211 Honors Boston in Film and Literature
An overview of literature and films set in Boston from the Colonial Era to the present, i.e. from Phillis Wheatley to Ben Affleck. Our emphasis will be on Boston as a psychic space rather than just a geographic location. What legends or myths about Boston are created, perpetuated, or challenged by literary or cinematic representations?
Prerequisite
