LAW-2438 Statistics

This course is designed to empower students with the ability to interpret the findings and assess the quality of statistical insights deriving from pre-trial and clinical trial research. Through this course, students will learn conventional methods for acquiring, cleaning, describing, and summarizing data in a life sciences context. Further, common approaches for testing the causal inferences necessary to solve biological problems will be covered. The overarching objective of this course is to provide students with the statistical foundation necessary to consume and evaluate scientific research from the health and life sciences. No previous experience with statistical analysis or statistical software is required.
