LAW-2376 Collaborative Law
Collaborative Law Practice is a dispute resolution process that emerged in the early 1990s and is still gaining traction in the US and abroad. This process provides a multi-disciplinary team approach to conflict resolution that transforms the mindset of traditional position-driven negotiation into a joint problem-solving venture. This is an online experiential course that includes the basics of interest-based dispute resolution and an introduction to the Collaborative Law Practice process and paradigm shift for lawyers. Students will experience how Collaborative Law Practice seamlessly joins the toolkit of online dispute resolution offerings. Final grade will be based on class participation, an ongoing reflection journal, and a final critical assessment paper. 25 Mar 2022 2:39 PM
