LAW-2342 Introduction to Molecular Biology
This course surveys the major structures and processes of the cell. Topics covered include cellular structures and organelles, the flow of information within the cell from DNA to RNA to protein, and basic cellular processes. The course will be taught with the over-arching goal of deepening the understanding of the biological sciences so that they can be leveraged in health care and life sciences organizations. Students will be assessed based on midterm and final exams, chapter quizzes, assignments and class participation.
