Academic Warning
Academic Warning indicates to a student that while their overall academic performance keeps them in good academic standing, their academic performance in the recent term indicates the student may benefit from taking advantage of resources on campus to improve their academic performance to avoid a more serious academic standing. While on an Academic Warning, students may be required to meet with an advisor. Students are considered on Academic Warning for one or more of the following reasons:
- The student’s cumulative grade point average is 2.0 or above but the term grade point average is below 2.0
- The student receives two or more grades of “I” or “W” within a semester
- The student receives a grade of “F” within a semester
