Academic Standing
At the conclusion of each semester, students failing to make satisfactory progress are reviewed by the Academic Standing Committee of their respective school. Suffolk University expects students to maintain an overall grade point average of 2.0 and a grade point average of 2.0 in the major field of study, as well as a 2.0 grade point average in the minor. Failure to maintain these degree requirements may result in academic probation or dismissal. Students are notified in writing of any actions taken by the Academic Standing Committees.
