EMBA-725 Regulatory Environment of Business
This course explores the legal and regulatory environment in which organizations maneuver and operate. Students will explore the rules of the game as imposed by various regulatory bodies. You will study how those rules impact business decision making while also considering regulatory gaps and how businesses may leverage those opportunities while also revisiting the risks to businesses when engaged in unethical behavior even if legal. Specific legal topics will include agency law, securities fraud, employment law, antitrust, and global corruption.
