SCI-104 Food Chemistry

Introduction to the science of food. Students will learn about various food components, including salts, sugars, fats, and additives. The chemical and physical processes involved in food preparation will also be discussed. Students will investigate various properties of food such as pH, artificial colors, and nutrient content through hands-on activities. This course is designed for non-science majors.
