SBS-HC381 SEED Resource Acquisition Clinic

Students will work in a cross functional team to deliver semester-long client projects. Students will serve as in an investment banker capacity working to raise capital for clients.  Faculty and Alumni mentors will guide students through this intensive project where students will learn about different funding sources, how to match funding requirements with appropriate sources, how to prepare clients for securing funding and the process to close on said funding.  Students will be exposed to multiple types of funding sources including, but not limited to: grants, loans, venture capital, government programs, private investors and much more.  Industry practitioners will supplement lecturer classroom instruction, providing additional business knowledge, skills and business acumen. Students will learn practical frameworks for raising capital in a real-world environment depending on the project specifics.
