PHIL-261 Eastern Philosophy

This course is designed as a philosophical exploration of the metaphysical, religious, and ethical traditions of Eastern philosophy. The course focuses on Hinduism, early Buddhism, and Taoism. These three traditions will be examined in terms of their origins, central teachings, meditation and devotional practices, arts, and institutions.
