ENT-339 Family Business & Society
Can business be a force for good? Family businesses—the world's most prevalent business form—have survived waves of global political, economic, and technological change for centuries. How? And can they offer more equitable, ethical, and sustainable ways of doing business? This course surveys family enterprises from around the world through the lens of UN Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) to explore how for-profit organizations can create economic value while also advancing health, equality, decent work, and thriving communities.
