LAW-8119 Pharmaceutical Development
This course will explore the core components of the biopharmaceutical development process covering discovery, production, through commercialization. Students will engage in discussions on the emergence of regulations based on outcomes, as well as the evolution of the industry. Experts from the industry will join us periodically as guest lecturers and will share details of various functions along with illustrative case studies of drug development projects. Students will be assessed based on the following items: midterm exam, class participation, in-class activities, class presentation, and final exam.
