ISOM-316 Coding for Business
This course develops problem-solving and basic programming skills through a variety of business application assignments as well as introduces fundamental control and data structures using the Python programming language. The course builds skills in the areas of programming logic, data structures, control structures, and system development. Testing and debugging techniques and the writing of well-structured code are emphasized. Students will also focus on applying statistical modeling packages to data in order to build models that assist in solving analytical business problems. Among the analytics topics considered are Regression, Logistic Regression, Classification, and Clustering Methods.
