HLTH-776 Healthcare Delivery and Clinical Innovation: Shaping the Future of Care
This course offers a comprehensive exploration of innovation in the healthcare industry. The focus is on innovative delivery models and clinical practices in the U.S. Students will analyze case studies on innovative healthcare organizations and learn how efficient and effective healthcare models are tailored to the financial and contextual constraints of various health systems. The course also emphasizes the role of clinical innovation, introducing students to cutting-edge trends and technologies that are transforming healthcare. Areas such as telehealth, remote patient monitoring, precision and personalized medicine, biotechnology, and AI-driven care will be covered, as well as game-changing developments in primary care, chronic disease management, and cancer treatment. Through case studies, guest speakers, and site visits, students will learn how to identify, evaluate, adopt, implement, and manage innovations within healthcare organizations.
