ENG-222 Technical Writing

Technical writing involves communication for and/or with specialized topics. In this course, students will develop an understanding of the writing demands of professional and technical settings with a particular emphasis on critical and rhetorical problem-solving. Additionally, students will produce a variety of professional and technical genres and study their conventions and technologies with the aim of understanding how to best respond as writers in professional contexts. The communication skills learned in the course can help students succeed in many organizations or careers.
