ADPR-758 Sports Public Relations
This course will provide students the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge of public relations, marketing principles and techniques as it relates to the sports industry. This will be done through an in-depth study and analysis of the sport marketing mix, modern promotional and public relations techniques. Additionally, students will explore the sports public relations industry, through a theoretical and practical lens, looking at the professional, collegiate, international and amateur levels of sport. This will be accomplished through discussion of its many facets including market research and segmentation, public relations, advertising, branding, sponsorship, licensing, social media and media relations.
