LAW-9022 Hot Topics in US and European Family Law
This class has no prerequisite requirements and is open to all students. It will review family law hot topics in the US and Europe. Through in-class discussion of legal issues, simulations, and field trips, this class will cover the historical development of marriage and divorce in both the US and the European Union, the federalization of child support in the US as compared to the EU, and the complex area of child custody and child abduction.
