ENT-301 Sustainability Community Engagement
The course is a service-learning "add-on" for
ENT-352. Students will volunteer for a minimum of 20 hours over the semester and use this learning to further their understanding of human and community needs related to environmentally sustainable business practices and innovation. We will connect knowledge and theory to practice by combining service with reflection in a structured learning environment. This semester, you will have the opportunity to partner with a specific organization to better understand environmental justice and how climate change, pollution, etc., is impacting vulnerable populations. In doing so, our experiences will help us examine and understand how non-profit organizations partner with the public and private sectors to solve societal challenges. This course will satisfy the Local Engagement Requirement.
