CJ-686 Seminar in Juvenile Justice

Examines the array of issues concerned with the administration and operation of the juvenile justice system. The historical, philosophical, and legal foundations of the juvenile justice system will be examined along with the legal and philosophical changes within the system in the contemporary period. Special attention will be given to Massachusetts' model of juvenile corrections and treatment.
