CHEM-355 Environmental Chemistry
A study of the chemical processes that affect the cycling and ultimate fate of chemicals in the environment. Topics include air, water, and soil chemistry as well as energy and climate change. The effect of pollutant loads on natural systems and the remediation and treatment methods used to minimize pollutant loads are investigated. 3-hour lecture.
Prerequisite
CHEM-211 or permission of instructor. Take CHEM-355 concurrently.
