CHEM-LV111 General Chemistry Laboratory I Online

Online laboratory course that introduces the basic principles of chemistry through the use of a variety of virtual tools such as simulations and videos. Students will become familiar with safe laboratory practices and fundamental technical skills such as the determination of mass and volume, making solutions, and conducting a chemical reaction. Emphasis is also placed on understanding and writing scientific literature.

Placement at MATH-104 or better. Students who do not place at MATH-104 must take MATH-104 concurrently. Must be taken concurrently with CHEM-111.
