SPMT-530 Sports Management Practicum
This course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain practical experience in a sports management/business environment. Working with a partner organization(s), the student(s) will take a multi-discipline approach to solving complex problems in a sports business. Students will engage in empathizing, ideation, prototype building, and testing in an effort to deliver a final product to the partner organization. The product may take the form of a presentation, event(s) or report. The course is open to students who have completed SBS 101 – Business Foundations are Junior or Senior standing and have obtained the instructor's permission. It runs on an asynchronous delivery model. The course can be used to satisfy a requirement toward a BSBA in Sports Management major or minor.
