MKT-740 Global Travel Seminar in Vietnam

The Global Virtual Seminar takes students for short-term visits to business centers around the world. It provides students with a unique opportunity, connecting classroom learning with real-world experiences through international business exposure. During each trip, there is a wide variety of activities scheduled, including but not limited to company visits, flash consulting projects with local businesses, and cultural events. In addition to knowledge transformation from classroom into real-business settings, students could gain deeper understanding about global/cultural perspectives. Specifically, students will be exposed to various ways in which local businesses manage significant cultural challenges in their day-to-day operations, in a global context. In this journey, well explore the economic growth, innovation, opportunities, and challenges in Vietnam businesses - an emerging and fast rising marketplace in Southeast Asia. During the trip, students will develop a working knowledge of business in Vietnam, in three major perspectives: -Digital Marketing, Digital Transformation, and Innovation -Global Supply Chain Management, its Development, and Manufacturing -Tourism and Hospitality in the Post-Pandemic World
