GCS-511 Professional Development

The primary aim of this course is to encourage reflection on the students college career and the development of a personal strategy for attaining ones professional goals. The student will demonstrate an understanding of ethical guidelines and professional conventions by examining the differences between the diverse work cultures encountered in the concentration and by applying this understanding to a transnational/diverse professional world. The student will be exposed to resources to evaluate current employment and graduate school opportunities in the field for Global Studies majors.
