EC-511 Professional Development in Economics

This one-credit course is designed to explore career opportunities in economics in depth. Classroom discussions, writing assignments, and site visits will help prepare students to identify and secure internship and post-graduate employment opportunities. Additional career paths, such as pursuing graduate studies in economics or related fields, and the application process, will also be addressed. The goal of this course is to help students reach their fullest professional potential following graduation. (Only required for students entering before fall 2023.)
