BLKST-102 Arts & Culture From the African Diaspora Research and Writing

This class will explore artists from the African Diaspora that have influenced and advanced the culture of today. Starting with the early 1900s we will examine artists across the disciplines of music, visual art, dance and theater while investigating the impact they have had on the arts and culture of our current world.
