PHIL-331 Latinx Philosophy
This course will examine the philosophical heritage of the Spanish andPortuguese-speaking communities from North, Central, and SouthAmerica and the Caribbean. Students will explore the thought of variousschools that have arisen across this tradition (e.g., the Hyperion Groupfrom mid-20th century Mexico), as well as more general issues such asindigenous influences, feminist philosophy, essentialism, anddecolonial philosophy.
