SBS-HC475 Student Business Clinic
This Course provides a hands-on, practical opportunity for an SBS Honors student with senior standing to pursue an independent project to examine and participate in the process of bringing a technology-based life science solution to market from ideation of a product to a viable commercial business opportunity. A team based approach will be followed to assist one or more companies utilize the "lean venture" approach first created by Eric Ries. The students will provide business concept support to a life science company; with a focus on customer discovery, funding research, basic business support and construction of pitches to potential investors.
Prerequisite
SBS Honors; minimum GPA 3.5; Senior Standing. Registration with permission of honors program director.
