CJN-302 Sports Journalism
Course examines the unique aspects of reporting and writing sports journalism, including game coverage, profiles, columns, and in-depth features; covering a sports beat; accessing and interviewing athletes, coaches and officials; and analyzing player and team statistics to add depth to reporting. Students will report and write their own stories, as well as read examples of the best sports writing from professionals in the field.
