CAS-106 Positive Psychology in Education

This seminar will provide an overview of positive psychology and its application in the classroom including a brief introduction to Seligman, Rogers, Maslow and Dweck. We will examine Adverse Childhood Experiences and their macro impact, collective trauma in the classroom, mindfulness as a pathway to educational openness, and the power of mentorship.
