CJU-304 Race, Crime, and Justice

Examines racial disparities throughout the American criminal justice system, including those created through policing, courts, prisons, and community supervision systems. Students will analyze racial disparities from historical, political, legal, and sociological perspectives. This course will also challenge students to re-imagine racial justice through the lens of policy change and civil rights focused social movement activism.
