POLS-763 International Political Economy
The course examines the strategies that international and regional actors debate and put into practice to lessen tensions and crises in important areas of the international agenda, such as global political economy, institutional reforms at the UN, human rights, health, education and preservation of ecosystems. The primary goal of the course is to examine how human activity at various levels of analysis builds the institutional capacity of international players, produces cutting-edge knowledge to solve issues, and makes it possible to participate in global policy processes.
